Wards Hercules 410 was made by different manufacturers through out it's history.

The early models from the 1920's had no model number just "PROOF TESTED 410 GAUGE" stamped on the left side and "SELECTED FORGED STEEL" stamped on the right side of the barrel. Model numbers were stamped on later guns.

They usually don't fetch much $$

a bout 295 max..they are good guns but way out of date..was a knock off of Remington 1100...but mine shoots well just don't have the weight to make it more stable..get a pistol grip and make it a home defence weapon

I have a 16 gauge double barrel for sale.

I acquired a Mossberg 500 AG shotgun. It has never been fired and might be 10 years old. What is the value?

I have seen it go for around $250 +/- unfortunially it's not really a novialty gun so your not going to get the collectors attention value wise. Gun was intended as a turkey gun but never really took off. With the improvement of shotgun shells it just kinda faded away. I have seen them for sale here and there. Kinda cool, but not really a expensive gun.

You can't- for two reasons. The first is privacy- the second is that only a few places in the US require registration of firearms- despite what may be shown on TV.

Since there is no one range, there is no one answer. It will depend on the rules of the range. My children (and my grandchildren) began shooting WITH me at the age of 10. Some ranges will require that you be older, and some will not permit anyone under 18.

Firearms were made for Montgomery Ward by several makers. The serial number does not help, but any model numbers on the shotgun will. Most likely candidate is Stevens, but Savage and Mossberg also made guns marked with the Western Field label,

the sears and western auto guns were contracted by manufacturers like savage Winchester Remington and a few brownings. so if you are worried about quality don't. as far as price take it to a local dealer and have them give you a rating usually nra scale then look it up in a current blue book.

Conventional shotguns run from 10 gauge (very big) to a .410 (smallest). The most common are 12 and 20 gauges, a little less common are the 16 gauge and .410 (.410 = 67 gauge). Some of the less common gauges are 32, 28, 24, and 10 gauge. There are also monster 'punt' guns usually 6 or 8 gauge mounted to a boat. The smaller the gauge number, the bigger the gun.

A New England Firearms gun--try looking up the serial number online or sending H&R (the parent company) an email request with the serial number.

Sounds odd...what exactly is your question? shotgun receivers can be attached to different sized barrels. It is also possible to lower the gauge shell that a gun can handle by having a large gauge barrel fitted with pipes that lower its gauge.
