Some. I own a Beretta 92FS. It's a variation of the M9 used by the military. Both my gun and all M9s used in the US military are made in the US. However, you can purchase Italian made Beretta guns.

Hi, I also have a shotgun probably like yours in poor condition that the stock was replaced badly, and the steel work is worn also. but I would like to identify it and possibly restore it as well. The bolt set up is worn and I need to find one small part of it to complete the bolt assembly. Could you send me a picture of what yours is like. My email, redclover1@live.com Mine has etching like J C H on one part which I know it was sold by Sears Roebuck stores. But the bolt is very different than any of the other manufacturers that supplied these guns. On studying Mausers, Mosin Nagants, and other German type guns, etc., I feel there is a similarity to the Mauser bolt action, but the safety is a little different in design. I am going to keep looking for information on this old gun. But if you could forward me any pics especially of the Breech and the rest of the gun, I would greatly appreciate it. I have to make a stock for mine and I would like to know what it looks like.

Depends on the grade of the gun, and the condition. Pape was like a lot of makers in the time period, they made a lot of lower grade (but well built) guns, but also had the skill to make a very high grade gun if a customer wanted one.

John Buckingham was a line of guns made by Henri Pieper of Belgium in the mid 1800s. Break the gun down and look for his mark. a P or pieper or maybee an H. I have a 12ga ss marked John Buckingham on the lockplate and is engraved on all of the metal but none on the stock. Yours may have been made at the Liege gunworks in Belgium.

New in the box, as low as about $385. Prices go up to about $500 depending on finish, stock, barrel, etc. Used 835's start in the mid $200's and go up from there depending on condition and features.

My MX3 had a brilliant sporting stock, it had a completely level comb, which meant It always hit my cheek at the exact same place, even if I miss mounted! Superb shotgun, so good at very long crossers. Regret ever selling it.

They have been selling for $400 to 675 depending on condition and extras (choke tubes, stock quality, original box etc.) Blue book values them at $350 in 80% to 590 in 98% condition.

The website surplusrifle.com has good information on MANY different rifles and pistols, including the SKS. Follow instructions on field stripping, and use the supplied cleaning rod and parts. If you do not have the original cleaning rod, you will need to get a cleaning rod, a .30 cal ore brush, and a patch holder. If you are shooting corrosive primed ammo (most older Soviet and Chinese ammo IS corrosive) then the bore and gas piston will need to be washed with hot soapy water.

I have a 16 ga. Wards Hercules. Originally marketed and sold as a utility gun. My 16 dates to the '40's. It is like brand new. I have done a lot of looking into this question of value and all the answers come back as $100-$150 if in excellent condition. I wouldn't let mine go for less than $400.00, again, it is like brand new. So, all experts say keep it. You would have a difficult time replacing it so i have to agree. Keep it or pass it down.
