Do the patient dates on gun does that mean the year it was made in?
If you mean "patent" dates, no, that does not necessarily indicate when the gun was manufactured. The patent date indicates when the design was patented.
What is the value of a blackpowder 50cal gun?
who made the gun. how do you know it's a black powder gun ????
I have a sears and roebuck bolt action 12gauge model 58 and numerich arms says the gun was manufactured in 1949
That depends on the definition you assign to "shoot". If it is how far the projectile travels before coming to rest on the ground or some other surface then the answer is at least several hundred yards. If we are talking about effective killing range then we need to know what type of shell we are shooting and what we are killing. 3 inch magnum game loads will kill dove out to maybe 20 yards in my experience. Maybe more maybe less depending on the gun and the shooter. Although I've never fired slugs from a .410 I doubt they would really do the job on a deer at 100 yards. I've not run the ballistics on them and I don't really see a need to. A .410 is basically an up close gun, even more so than other shotguns. They can do some unentended damage at range though so be safe.

What is a 20 gauge double barrel shot gun with exposed hammers worth maker new york gun company?
50-150 USD depending on condition.
It's been a wile since you posted but I have a Dudley Williamson shotgun too with serial number 2001 and according to my research (I've recently been researching a lot about him and I now know something) it should be from the 1906-1911 period when he had a shop at Waterloo (Bridge) Road 3, London. From 1912 to 1920 he moved to 5, Waterloo Road. Look on the address on the rib and start from there. I'd love to see some pictures of your shotgun, by the way!
