There are several variations of Stoegher shotguns but a great assist would be in a book called "The Gun Digest of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly Part V: Shotguns, Second Editions. The book is by J. B. Wood.

Wish I knew. I to have a Belknap shotgun but all I can find is that it was one of the largest hardware manufacturers of the the time (up to 1940). So your guess is as good as mine.

yes if you hit it in the brain or hit a blood vesal but other then that and at a long range you will need to use 2-3 bullets to take that lion down and it also depends on the fps (feet per secound) of the gun as well use a caliber rifle or hunting sniper not a shotgun.

Like most other screwed on things on the business end of a firearm the magazine tube on the maverick 88 and or Mossberg 500 as well as probably every other shotgun in the wold, the tube is set with loctite or other thread sealer, which should be easily be burned off by applying a bit of heat, so don't risk destroying your weapon by sticking it in a vise and wrenching it off when you can melt the glue away and simply screw off the magazine tube with some oven mitts on.

A shotgun barrel length or rifle barrel length starts at the point where the rim of the case touches the shoulder of the chamber and extends to the tip of the muzzle. In most cases, if the barrel is threaded on, yes it would include the threads.

Yes. The second amendment says you can do that. The state is allowed to impose reasonable restrictions on things like the length of the barrel and to restrict the possession of firearms by people who have been previously convicted of certain crimes, but assuming you mean a normal, unmodified shotgun and aren't a felon, then yes.

That is a completely general question, there are a LOT of old rifles, and a lot single action or bolt action since there wasnt a lot of expirementation with semi-auto when shotguns where first developed. Come back with the manufacturer and model and we might have a price range for you. but your best bet is to take it to either an appraiser or a gun shop, both can tell you better than most people on the internet

well it depends on if its a 3 inch shell if its a 3 inch shell you might not be able to fit 3 in it unless you have cut the plug shorter

You have to press and hold the trigger to the rear and the bolt will slide out the back.

-If its a pump action shot gun and you aren't hunting migratory birds then you can have as many as you want.

-If its a semi auto shot gun then 5 as long as you aren't hunting migratory birds.

-If you are hunting migratory birds then you can only chamber 3 shells total 2 in the mag and one in the chamber.
