Well, different types of shotguns can hold varying amounts of rounds or shells. For example a Side by Side, or an Over & Under barreled shotguns can hold two rounds. The "typical" or "average" shotgun can hold 6-8 rounds without a plug. For example the Remington 870 or the newer model the 887. A plug is used to limit the amount of rounds in order to shoot types of game, like waterfowl, in which hunters are only allowed 3 rounds loaded at one time (on certain lands). Some home defense models of shotguns hold 12-15 rounds, depending on the model of course. A popular high capacity model is the Saiga shotgun, holding 10-20 rounds depending on the magazine, having both semi-auto and full auto variants.

It depends on condition. Boito was a Brazilian gun maker, popular around the 1970's. It was sold mostly at K-mart, as an "off brand". However, it was made with above average materials such as a quality hardwood grips and stock. It isn't the most exiting thing I've ever shot but It is one of the most reliable and maintenance free firearms I have had experience with. Good for any general purpose, more of a tool. But Beware parts that break or wear down can be nearly impossible to replace

A model 1127 midland gun co. ltd shotgun is a 20 gauge chambered for 3 inch rounds

with a 26 inch barrel single shot. hope this helps they were discontinued in the early 50's.

they can cost anywhere between 400 dollars to 100,000, usually a standard one is about 2000, but it depends on the make, ammo (guage) size of the gun, recoil, age and durability. since these are a old design the are alot of 'collecters' ones around, but they are easy to make so they are quite cheap, althought quality can be a problem.

I have a single shot 12GA shotgun that says "the hunter" on it and recently sent it to get restored but history wise i was told that it was made by a company called H&R (Harrington and Richardson). Apparently they had made millions of these guns, mine dated back to the 1940's.

I think your rifle is a Marlin 336, marked with the Western Auto "store brand". Run an internet search for images, Marlin 336, and see if that looks like yours.
