I own a purebreed male Siberian husky and he has proven that he has the potential to attack a stranger or dog that tries to harm me, which did happen to me and my Siberian husky attacked the person who was going to rob me because that person thought Siberian huskies were harmless but he was totally wrong!

They are generally better suited for family life and enjoy human company, though they are not to be trusted around small animals. Siberian Huskies have 2 coats, a coarse top layer and a soft one below that. They are made to work in the cold and prefer cooler temperatures. If you live in a hot place and are considering buying a husky make sure your dog is properly hydrated. Huskies need a lot of exercise since they are born to run, make sure after your walk you give them plenty of water. Also during the day if you keep them inside your house make sure there is air conditioning and water. If your husky is outside make sure there is plenty of shade and water. Bottom line is make sure they have water, or consider buying a different dog.

I would say a husky would be a much better pet. I would not get a wolf if you do not have a permit or papers.

They can, but it wouldn't be very suitable. Adapted to a colder climate, it'd be at a constant risk of overheating. You could keep its fur cut short, but that would seriously damage its coat and leave it vulnerable without that natural protection against the sun and other outside elements.

Doubtful. While every dog is different, huskies are not an "off-leash" breed typically. I own a Husky that I would consider abnormally docile, lazy, and laid back. She still will run away when given the chance. The issue is two fold as I see it. The Husky breed is a breed that loves to run and smart enough they get bored with menial tasks. With no fence in your backyard they would just keep running, not run in circles around your yard. Secondly, Huskies are friendly to everyone. They are more likely to see someone walking down the street and go out to greet them. They make terrible guard dogs. If not under your constant supervision the Husky will run away. They are not a breed for someone who is looking for a dog that can be "off-leash" at any time. It's not their fault, and it doesn't mean they don't love you. It just means they love running more and they are a very independent breed.

To answer the first part of your question, yes a Husky can be an outdoor dog. Thanks to their double coat they can handle cold weather well. However, that being said be aware that a dogs coat comes in thicker if they transition from summer to winter months outside. In cold weather climates you can't take a dog and turn them from an indoor to an outdoor dog during the winter. Also be aware that depending on the color of your Huskies coat, you may need to pay special attention to creating shade and cool spots for the hot summer months. The double coat is a double edged sword. I have heard that their coats can actually burn, mine is an indoor Husky though so I can't say for sure.
