Well, first there's Six Flags New Orleans which is not being currently operated because it was flooded during Hurricane Katrina. The closest would be Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta, but a better park would be Six Flags Fiesta in San Antonio, Texas.

In order to get to Six Flags on the MTA bus you first need to contact your local MTA office and find out if any buses go there. If there is not a bus that travels to Six Flags, you will not be able to get there.

Six Flags theme parks are located in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, and Texas, as well as in Mexico City, Mexico and La Ronde, Montreal, Canada. While many rides have height restrictions such that they would be inappropriate for toddlers, there are also sections of the parks dedicated to younger children, which would have age-appropriate rides. Six Flags parks also have live shows which toddlers may find entertaining.

They shouldn't. Or rather, they could if they want to, but if they don't want to it would be wrong to make them.

There are plenty of times a family with young children can go to Six Flags other than Fright Fest. And there's always the option of simply not going at all. If enough people "vote with their wallets" like that, Six Flags will change it; as long as it's profitable, though, clearly there are a number of people who like it the way it is and it should be left alone.

It depends on the season. The summer is the busiest time of the year and there are thousands of guests. Visitation is lighter in the spring and fall when the park is only open on weekends. The park has 284 acres and over 46 rides (including 11 roller coasters) so there is plenty of capacity.

The Kingda Ka is a roller coaster ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. It is classified as the world's tallest roller coaster at a height equivalent to 45 stories. There is no minimum age requirement, however persons wishing to ride must be taller than 54".

Six Flags Darien Lake was first opened in the 1900's under the name Darien Lake Fun Country, but was later closed down. It was reopened in 1999 under the name of Six Flags Darien Lake.

"Six Flags" the amusement park chain started in Texas, and the six flags referred to are those of Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the US, and the Confederate States of America (before returning to the US).

The other Six Flags parks required increasing amounts of optimism to make the same "Six Flags" claim:

Georgia's supposed list was Spain, France, the UK, the US, the CSA, and "Georgia". France's historical connection to Georgia is tenuous at best, and Georgia's claim to have been an independent entity is much weaker than that of Texas.

Mid-America (near St. Louis, MO) was France, the US, and ... um ... it kind of peters out there, really; it was technically claimed by the UK and Spain at one time, I suppose, and rounding out the two are Missouri and Illinois (neither of which were ever independent countries, and one of which is a few dozen miles away across the river).

After that they kind of gave up, and just made it a generic name (they also, at that point, stopped building new parks and started buying existing parks and renaming them).

There are Six Flags parks in Texas (two of them; at one time three), Georgia, Missouri, Illinois, New Jersey, California, New York, Maryland, and Massachusetts. There's also one in Montreal, Quebec and one in Mexico City.
