There are three fairies in the Disney version, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather and the dark, powerful witch/ fairy Maleficent.

Well...in the Disney Animated Feature version, Maleficent is the name of the "evil" character. It doesn't mention her being a fairy...but just that she is powerful. I would assume she is a 'witch' or 'fairy,' because she does not age and she seems to know a lot about how the other fairies work...but really the only mention of the fairies are the three good ones; Flora, Fauna and Merryweather.

There are MANY. As the ballet was produced in different countries and different decades, alterations were made to suit time and place. Choreographer Marius Petipa originally named the fairies who brought gifts to the christening as Candide, Culant, Miettes qui tombent, Canarie qui chante, Violente, and the Lilac Fairy. The gifts were not objects but characterisitics, reflected in the fairies names and in their choreography. Here is at least a partial list:

Candide - White, Crystal, Fairy of the Crystal Fountain

Coulant - Gold, Fairy of the Enchanted Garden, Fairy of the Woodland Glade. I

have also heard of this variation as the Rose Fairy.

Miettes - Pink, the Crumb Fairy

Canarie - Yellow, Canary Fairy, Songbird Fairy

Violente - Orange - Finger Fairy, Electric Fairy, Fairy of the Golden Vine.

Lilac Fairy - she is the only one of these fairies who seems to continue unchanged. Her gift is wisdom, and she has some power to reduce the spell of the last and

uninvited wicked fairy, Carabosse, who also remains unchanged.

Fairies are also sometimes listed as their gifts/attributes, as in Fairy of: Beauty, Temperament, Purity, Joy, Wit, Generosity; Tender Fairy, Playful Fairy, Generous, Brave, Carefree.

Also keep in mind that there are four different fairies at the end of the ballet called Gold, Silver, Sapphire and Diamond.

many people can't sleep becasuse of insomania but most of the people find it difficult to sleep.the main reason behind it is 'their mind and thoughts'',a variety of thoughts running through their mind prevent them from sleeping.These thoughts are ,mostly about how did your whole day begun and how it ended ......if someone wants to sleep they can practice light mediation for five minutes. Mediatation will not be reason for your sleep but once you mediatated you can sleep easily.'who is preventing you from sleep'?? at the end of the movie, when they are dancing in the clouds, the last color that you can see the dress in is pink as the book is closing. But Aurora is always presented in blue, so i guess its a toss up

Flora wore a pink/red/orange dress with a red pointed hat and cape. Eventually she changed to peasant like clothes which was a orange patched dress with a bright orange vest/shirt and a light orange a babushka (hair covering).

Fauna wore a green dress with a green pointed hat and cape. Eventually she changed to peasant like clothes which was a green dress with a brown 'shirt' over it with a light brown apron, and a light brown babushka (hair covering).

Merryweather wore a blue dress with a blue pointed hat and cape to begin with in the movie. Eventually she changed to peasant like clothes which was a blue dress, with a black make shift vest/corset, blue apron and a light blue babushka (hair covering).
