What is better Smallville or Doctor Who?
This is a very difficult question to answer, both correctly and impartially. The truth is both of these shows, are extremely good. Contrary to what ratings may be displayed, on the website imdb.com, Doctor Who is not as clear cut a winner as it is made out to be.
For one thing cw is no longer making new episodes of Smallville, and even when they were it was not the most popular show. Doctor Who is still on, and is slightly more popular.
As far as content goes, both TV shows display an extraordinary talent for the use of special effects. Smallville's special effects are although not perfect I would say, better than Doctor Who's. In addition, the story in Smallville seems to have so much more behind it, and the season finales are a lot more suspenseful. In Doctor Who's defense Smallville is a fantastic show about a legendary hero loved and respected for decades and is very hard to compete with.
Doctor Who is, I would say more sophisticated, in most ways than Smallville. What people say and do in crisis situations is more realistic, and the answers to conflicts, are not as easy to get to.
So in the end I would give Smallville,a rating, of 10 out of 10 and Doctor Who a rating of... 9.7.

well from what ive heard, they cant make him into superman with all the flying and stuff (this sucks i know) because the writers only have a contract that allows them to do what clark did BEFORE he became superman. so basically i doubt very much you will get to see him fly until the las episode. hopefully there will be a seeason 9 cos i think its a great show but i just don't know how much more the writers can put in. maybe some more characters from DC will be included but that's about it.
p.s. i kno he has flown before and stuff but that was when he was taken over by something or he wasnt himself or something like that so they could get away with it.
