Jennie Finch is considered one of the best softball players in the world. In fact my mit is a Jennie Finch mit. She of coursed made a difference in softball but depending on what softball means to you, is what she made a difference in. If you ask a football player "What does the great softball player Jennie Finch mean to you?" They would most likely say "Who?" Or "HUH?"

Most softball bases today are made out of rubber. They do have a metal bottom that allows the base to stay where it is supposed to be. There are throw-down bases that are made out of foam and can be thrown down anywhere.

Soccer is generally a very active sport. Depending on your position, you may get lots of cardio exercise. For example, forwards and midfielders usually get a lot of cardio exercise since they're constantly running after the ball.

Volleyball and Softball both have balls. haha. Most people who do volleyball also do softball. They involve short sprints and rules. Hope this helps :p

But there are ot ther gloves that go for under 200 dollars but the very good major league baseball players are getting the the gloves over 200 dollars.

there are two seasons fall and spring for spring practice begins in February and games start in march it ges until may some teams such as all star or travel play through the summer or year round but legals play spring and fall fall begins in September and goes through December

Most teams (not including school) i have heard of start over the summer or during spring (starting in february). Club ball is almost year round. School teams have there own schedule tryouts are normally every february tho games could start at any point (my school team had one week of practice before the first game) it varies on the schools and etc.

A line up in softball is the order in which each player is scheduled to bat in a game. The height of an outfield fence in fastpitch softball is generally between 4 and 8 feet.

Travel is more competitive than rec. Rec season also consists of 1 game per every few days or once a week. Travel will compete in tournaments which will only last 1 to 2 days, but have up to 8 games in a day! 8 being probably the most. So to answer your question, the only difference would be the level of competition.

On a single to left field the third baseman will be the cutoff to home. The shortstop will cover third base. The pitcher will backup home. The catcher will make the call if a cut is needed and to what base. The center fielder should start toward left and once the ball has been fielded cleanly, he should go to back up second in case a throw is made there either from the cutoff or the catcher.

Baseball requires a lot more thinking and skill than track because you work with and rely on a team to win. Baseball requires learning more skill sets than track and allows a merely good athlete to do well. Track, once you learn the basics, depends more on athletic ability and athletic training than skill.

That's easy, take them to a pitching coach. My sagestion, Tim Timmons!! I'm 11 and I've been going to him for a while, and belive me, he's good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is more for speed. He is also a pitcher himself! He takes kids ages 5 to colage! Try it!!!
