Distance of 1st base and 2nd base?
Pythagorean Theorem. We know its 90 feet between the bases, and we know that you're describing a right triangle, so we can figure the distance between home plate and second base as: 90^2 + 90^2 = x^2 8100 + 8100 = x^2 16200 = x^2 127.29 feet
How many feet is it from pitchers mound to home plate in pee wee baseball?
Bases are different distances apart at different levels of play in baseball. Here is how you can find the distance across the diamond (home to second, or first to third) on any field:
What is the distance between bases?
Square that answer (multiply it by itself).
Double that answer.
Find the square root of that answer.
The answer you get will be the distance from home to second or from first to third.
In softball can you run on a foul?
In both baseball and softball all lines are considered to be fair territory. If a batted ball hits the line on the fly, but then rolls into foul territory, it is still considered a fair ball. This rule only applies to a ball hit past either the first or third base bag. A ball that hits the line, or inside the line, before reaching the first or third base bag is a foul ball.
Do you have to tag the runner on a force out in softball?
To tag a player out in softball, you can either tag them directly with the ball, or with the ball in your glove. It will not be called an out if you tag them with the glove with the ball in the other hand. When tagging a player, it is easier to straddle the bag, so you can easily get the tag down and make the out. You might want to look up videos on youtube for a visual example
When the ball hits the baserunner it is a dead ball at the runner the ball hit is out. The batter is credited with a single. Since the batter is given a single, any baserunner required to advance will advance, however, no runners ahead of the runner who was out will advance:
i.e bases loaded, the runner at 2nd is hit by the ball, the runner at 2nd is out, the runner at 1st goes to 2nd and the batter goes to first. the runner at 3rd does not get to advance, he will stay at 3rd, so the bases will remain loaded
runners at 2nd and 3rd, -- the ball hits the guy at 3rd base (while he is in fair territory), runner at 3rd is out, runner at 2nd returns to 2nd, and batter goes to first, you now have runners on 1st and 2nd
hope this helps

It depends on you and your personal preferences. I use a Liberty Catcher's Mit... i think it's an 11 inch. Some catchers like big gloves, other prefer smaller ones. It just depends on you. I recommend the Liberty series (they're white).
Someone invented baseball first long ago and they created softball after baseball because long ago baseball was only for boys
Softball was invented inside the Farragut Boat Club on a blustery, winter day in November, 1887, in Chicago, IL. A bunch of Yale and Harvard alumni anxiously awaited the results of the Harvard-Yale football game, and when the news came that Yale had defeated Harvard, 17-8, one Yale supporter, overcome with enthusiasm, picked up an old boxing glove and threw it at a nearby Harvard alumni, who promptly tried to hit it back with a stick. This gave George Hancock, a reporter for the Chicago Board of Trade, an idea. He suggested a game of indoor baseball. Naturally, Hancock's friends thought he was talking about playing a game outdoors, not indoors

How can you throw a softball farther than you normally can?
One way is to execute the proper basics. Have the correct grip and correct arm movement to use your body to your full potential.
The other is to have a conditioning program to follow. Strengthening your legs, core, triceps and back will surely help with your throw.
All i have to say is that baseball is totally boring!
How do you calculate batting percentage in softball?
On base percentage
In baseball statistics, on base percentage (OBP) is a measure of how often a batter gets to first base for any reason other than a fielding error or a fielder's choice. It may be calculated as:
(H + BB + HBP) / (AB + BB + HBP + SF) OBP is sometimes referred to as "on base average" or OBA.
It is possible for a player's on base percentage to be lower than his batting average (H/AB). If a player had 2 hits and 5 at bats with a sacrifice fly, his batting average would be .400 but his on base percentage would be .333.

How fast do you think a high school softball player should run from home to first?
Most high-school players can run form home to first between 2.8 and 3.2. As always there are some people that are faster, I ran it in 2.65, and these girls are usually slappers. If you are slower try to develop a power game to hit the ball out of the infield so that you can get on base more often.
If a player is walked is the ball considered a dead ball?
If a batted ball hits a base runner in fair territory before the ball has been touched by a defensive player or an umpire, the ball is dead, the runner is called out for interference, the batter is awarded first base, and all other runners advance one base if forced. If, however, the ball has been touched by a defensive player or an umpire before hitting the base runner, the ball is live and play proceeds as usual (unless the runner is judged by the umpire to have deliberately made contact with the ball, then the runner can be called out for interference, the ball is dead, the batter is awarded first base, and all other runners advance one base if forced, or, if flagrant, the batter can also be called out and no runners advance).
In many T-Ball or Youth baseball leagues there's a maximum number of runs a team may score on offense in an inning before going back on defense, regardless of whether three outs have been recorded against them. The number of runs scored may vary from league to league.
Further, within large leagues involving youth of varying ages, teams may be rated by their skill level; A - D. If an A team is playing a D team during league play, the "D" level team may be allowed to score more runs per innings, if they are able, than the "A" level team to try and compensate for the disparity of the skill sets the teams posses.
