No you do not. The Playstation TV is more or less a PSVita variant, with no screen or controls. It can play a selection of PSVita games and connects to the PSVita's PSN store to purchase PSP or PS1 games, etc.

Not entirely true, there are ways of playing a PS3 game on Xbox 360. Also contrary to poplar believe you can fix the "red ring of death" when everyone seems to think that they have to get a new xbox every time that happens to them.

they do but they will not play any new dvds that came out a year after the play station was made because the DVD dater has been changed and the play station will not be able to play any new dvds but it can still play all the old ones.

Xbox One. Not only is it a gaming console, its also a great entertainment system. If you like playing games and enjoying movies and tv its the system for you. It can do everything th ps4 can and more. The price is pretty much even with the ps4 asswell.

There are no votes on this just like there never were for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It would be meaningless anyway as few voters would have experience with both systems since it is before either have been released. No doubt many individuals will describe in detail without any accurate information why each is the better system.

Right now my PS3 with it full system of accessories costing hundreds of dollars and a huge TB harddrive filled with games is much better than what will come in the PS4 Box with it's single controller and no games. Expect to invest much more than just the $400 or $500 the system's cost for just the console.

To be specific, if you want to get more exclusive games that come out and just want a console to play occasionally. Playstation 4 controllers are more comfortable in my opinion, but Xbox does have some advantages. If you are on a budget than Xbox is the way. But to be honest this is more of an opinion, some people like Xbox some people like Playstation 4.

Nobody knows for sure. Sony is not currently working on it though as they feel the PS3 is still powerful enough. We will probably see an announcement of a PS4 within the next few years at E3.

We do not know how much the PS4 will cost when it arrives. The cost of it will depend on how powerful the hardware it uses is. I expect it will most likely cost about the same as the PS3 did when it first came out.

The PS3 slim can is good but it depends on what kind of person you are. If your a nerd like myself that loves awesome graphics (with hd) then you might not like it cause there no hdmi. if you play video games quite a bit but are satisfied with the original ps3s graphics then i would go with that because it can do more that the slim. like play ps2 games and stuff like that so if i had to make a descision then i would go with the bulk

In short, no. Sony haven't released any information regarding a PS4 yet, so we can only assume that you cannot. It is highly likely you will be able to play PS3 games on it, that is - if it really comes out.

There is no PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 3 stopped because of the cost, so it is very unlikely that any machine after the 80 GB model number CECHF01 will ever be made again. That machine though very expensive retail sold at a loss for Sony.

Making a emulation program for the PS2 still does not work on every game or without considerable effort 11 years after the PS2s release. The PS3 is a much more difficult system to develop emulation for and might not be done for 20 years so the PS4 would not be able to have even the Partially software based emulation used on the PS3 for the PS2 games

No. It is not possible for a PS3 version of a game that is also offered as a PS4 game title to play against each other. They can not play because the games are different software and whether they are both on the Playstation Network does not matter because the games are not compatible
