I will start with the fact that your rifle was made in 1918.That said your springfield rifle was also double heat treated,with that feature starting at serial number 800,000.The value that i am going to give will be based on the rifle being all original with numbers matching,and not a arsenal rebuild.That being said the value is running between 1,600-2,000 if all cartouches are clear and the wood is not sanded.If this rifle has been arsenal rebuilt(the barrel will have a date next to the sight during WW-II it will be worth between 600-1,000 dollars depending on condition.
