A squid gives both his hearts to adventure leaving him with no hearts at all.

I don't think that it is really known because it lives so deep in the ocean and it's really hard and expensive to research animals that live down there, and it's also a relatively newly discovered species

I'm not sure whether the squid I had in The Gambia (Western Coast of Africa) was a giant squid or not, but the peices I had would indicate the squid was huge. The one individual suction cup was about the diameter of a U.S. quarter (coin). The thickness of a one inch square peice of the main body was 3/8" thick. The resort I stayed at right on the Atlantic ocean consistently offered every night this variety of squid at its poolside buffet. As for the taste? It was very similar to the best squid I've ever had before. It was mild and sweet, not rubbery. The texture was smooth and when you bit into it, it had a crispness about it, like eating into an apple. This was the same whether BBQ'd or sauteed. At first I was reluctant to try it because it was bigger than any squid or octupus meat I've ever had and I was concerned about it having an overwhelming taste or tasting fishy. Full grown octopi vary greatly in size, depending on the species. Some are small enough to fit into your hand and others, like the giant Pacific octopus, can grow to weigh more than 500 pounds.

squids eat by entangleing their prey with their tentacles, then pulling it into its beak like mouth. Octopussys do pretty much the same thing..

No they don't... I am doing some research at the moment on a school based assignment which requires me to look at how mating in squid's work. Here's how it goes...

A male squid runs into a female squid, there is a struggle (almost like rape) for the male to inject his sperm into the female. This happens and the sperm is injected into the females arm, this increases the rate of maturity which then causes the body to detect the sperm and produce eggs, these eggs are covered in a jelly - like substance and pushed out through the females funnel. She then grabs on to it with her arms. The jelly - like substance releases a chemical which causes the sperm to swim up and break the barrier of her arm and eventually the egg. This egg is fertilised and the female releases it to drift of into the distance. I think the average young is 1-2

-- very little is known about the glass squid. They are known to bioluminesce, meaning they probably use this to lure their prey close. Since they vary greatly in size, it is difficlut to determine what they prey on. They can be as small as 10 cm or as large as 14 meters in the case of the colossal squid. Which size are you referring to? --

It consumes matter that is then digested in the stomach acid causing break down of said matter using the resources out of the nutrient filled matter, leaving the rest to be sorted as fecal matter, to either be diverged to the small or large intestine, after said sorting has completed, it travels its way to either the Anus or the Urethra, thus being expelled from the Squid.

Jellyfish have Radical Symmetry and Cnidaria (Latin for "stinging cells") Also, they have two cell layers that are organized into tissue. Cnidaioans hace digestive,muscle,nerve, and sensory tissue. The Cnidarian body is a hollow sack with only ONE body opening (a mouth). It is surrounded by rope-like pieces of tissue called tentacles (arms). These tentacles may contain stinging cells.
