When was the IMAX theater put in the Temecula Stadium 15?
As stated in a blog by Big Movie Zone Blog sometime in November:
"Regal Entertainment Group announced today that a new IMAX Experience screen will debut Friday at its Edwards Temecula Stadium 15, starting with midnight showings of the 3-D "A Christmas Carol." The coming opening had already been touted on digital message boards outside the multiplex at Promenade Temecula mall. Still unclear was the fate of an IMAX theater that was being developed in nearby Murrieta by another local moviehouse operator. This is the second time that Tennessee-based Regal has announced a new IMAX for its Temecula theater. In February, it put out a release noting that Edwards in Temecula was among five Regal theaters nationwide set to debut new IMAX screens in the second quarter of 2009. The theater's development was part of a 31-screen deal reached between Regal and Toronto-headquartered IMAX Corp., reaching 20 U.S. markets. At the time, longtime Inland movie theater owner Bruce Sanborn, whose family operates The Movie Experience in Murrieta, said he was surprised by Regal's announcement, because his company had been involved with IMAX to bring a theater to his multiplex, on California Oaks Road near I-15, since 2007. Sanborn said his theater had an exclusivity agreement with IMAX to serve territory running north to Riverside and south past Temecula to the Agua Tibia Wilderness area, straddling the border with San Diego County."
So, in this case, the IMAX in Edwards Temecula Stadium 15 opened on November 6th, 2009.
Many D1-AA schools transition from DII; so their stadiums are not as large as many D1 schools. The Average D1-AA school would seat around 8,000 to 10,000. Yet many stadiums like Montana's Washington-Grizzly Stadium can seat over 20,000.

so here is how to make it. but the stadium is flat. all you need is duct tape and cardboard. first, you cut a round circle for the base. next, you need to find the perimeter of the circle. then cut the sides. (the perimeter) after that, you just tape the sides on. (you might find this unhelpful)

How do you make a model stadium for a kid's project?
a model stadium is kind of tough. i wo9uld suggest you start with the scaffolding. You can use clay and then paint it, or use card board or mesh. if you wanted to use clay, you could shap a large cone, since the seatig generally goes in that pattern. then, if you use clay, you could use paper towel tubes to make the tunnels the football teams or whoever walks out of. the seating will be kind of tricky. Since you made the clay cone gradually sloping, now youll need to levbel off sections like stairs all around, so you can place the seats on the ledges. be sure to stop the seating at some point. You can use the little pizza tables as seats, or just paste in pictures of chairs. dollhouse furniture might work. finally, paint it and place it on cardboard for a base. you might want to do that first. Hope your kid gets an A!

How did the ancient Romans use a stadium?
The modern concept of stadium is different from the ancient concept. Originally, in antiquity, a stadium was only a venue for athletics contests. The name originated from ancient Greece, and the most famous of them was the one at Olympia, which was used for the Ancient Olympic Games. The Romans did not have a permanent stadium (intended as an athletics venue) until 86 AD, when the emperor Domitian opened the Stadium Domitiani (Stadium of Domitian) also known as Circus Agonalis.
The Romans built amphitheatres, which are defined as arenas. These were venues for the gladiatorial games. The most famous one is the Flavian Amphitheatre, better known as Colosseum.
The Romans also built racing tracks, which they called circus. The city of Rome had two such venues. The Circus Maximus was for chariot races. The Circus Flaminius was for the metae (horseback races around turning posts) of the religious Taurian Games which were held in honour of the gods of the underworld.
