Wel on Ebay the gold stamp can fetch about 5.00 to 12.00 dollars. But many other places will sell them from anywhere between 8.00 to 10.00 dollars. But remember that the gold stamp isn't issued by the post office but by a private company!

Scott US number 1848 with a face value of 5 cents. It can be purchased for 50 cents in mint condition. A used copy is 15 cents. Which means you would be lucky to get any money from a dealer for them.

The US has issued dozens of stamps in 1922. You will have to completely identify the stamp to find a value. A catalog, available in most libraries can help you determine the value. Chances are a dealer won't purchase a single stamp unless it is worth more than a dollar or two.

Canada has issued many 5 cent stamps. You will need to consult a Canadian catalog and do some research to identify which stamp this is. There are lots of stamps issued and they vary in value from almost nothing to some nice values.

Most libraries will have a copy of Scott's Postage Stamp Catalog of the World. First of all, you have to identify the specific stamp or card. That in itself can be a daunting task, but most of the catalogs are well illustrated with lots of information. Once you know what item you have, the catalog will provide a set of prices that can be used to estimate value.

If it hasn't been cancelled (used), then it's worth a minimum of 6 cents US.

Beyond that it's pointless to speculate, since there have been a huge variety of US 6 cent stamps, and the value depends on which particular one you're talking about, when it was issued, what its condition is, and other factors.

If you want to buy just one it will probably cost you from 10 to 25 cents at a stamp store for a mint or used copy

If you want to order it by mail, you would have to pay postage and handling in addition.

Dealers get them as part of larger lots for almost nothing per stamp- say 65% face if mint and 1/2 cent if used.

It is the kind of stamp I use on letters if unused or give to kids if used.

You can certainly try. But they are not worth much. You can purchase them from a dealer or on eBay for about $2 per cover or even less. They have almost no real gold, such a thin layer that it would take thousands of them to get a measurable amount.

It will say forever on the stamp. If it doesn't, it may be one of the non-denominational issues that has a fixed price. See the link below.

Cost of a postage stamp was dependent on the face value of the stamp. The most common rate stamp is for First Class Mail. In the United States in August of 2008 that was 42 cents for the first ounce.

They are still valid for postage in the US. The total stamp value must equal the current First Class rate. You would have to add 7 cents to each of them to total the correct amount for a letter. Used together they would cover two ounces of First Class mail.

There were four different 8 cent Christmas stamps. None of them had a date on them, so it isn't any sort of misprint. You can obtain copies through dealers for 20 cents each.

These show the 50 state birds and flowers. It complete set mint can be purchased for $55 mint and about $25 used through a dealer. Single copies might be on interest to a dealer to help them put together a set, so they might give a dime for each one in good shape.

The 1847 stamp was brown, What you probably have was cut from a special commemorative sheet issued in 1947 to celebrate the 100 anniversary of the first US stamps. It still retails for less than 50 cents,

but would be a treat for any collector who does not have one, if you do not want to keep it for yourself.

First Day Covers in good condition tend to run around a dollar or two. Certain artists can cause a cachet, the design on the envelope, to be worth more.

Yes, it is a postage stamp country. It does not refer to the small size of the country. It references the fact that they make a good revenue from the production and sale of postage stamps to collectors.

The price of a US First Class Stamp in 2000 was 33 cents. It was good for one ounce of First Class Postage. It went up from 32 cents in January 1999.

It went to 34 cents in 2001.

A first class stamp from Canada to the UK is now $1. This, however, is the price for a simple flat letter or airmail to the United Kingdom. If sending a package or parcel, you will probably need to add a few more first class stamps. This, of course, depends on the weight and size of the package.
