Second in command on the starship enterprise?
Counting the first two versions (XCV 330 and NX-01) Captain James Tiberius Kirk would be third. The third captain of the starship Enterprise is uncertain. If one goes purely by the television series, the first was Captain Jonathan Archer, second was James T Kirk and third was Jean-Luc Picard. But one cannot go purely by the main captains of the TV series, as Captain Pike was in the pilot episode before Kirk, and another captain was alluded to also during the original series of Star Trek.

You first need to know that Stardates in Star Trek start at the basedate. The basedate is January 1, 2323 (Stardate 0).
Stardate units standardize time measurement between various cultures, worlds and races. It has little relationship to Earth's time as we know it; one hour aboard a starship at different impulse speeds may equal many Earth hours. Stardates are calculated through a complicated equation that takes into account relativistic effects, universal expansion and the effects of gravity on time and space. Every so often the stardate system has to be updated to take into account the expansion of space or other natural effects. Starfleet vessels did this by contacting a nearby Starfleet time beacon and adjusting their internal chronometer.
Because the formula is so complex to convert Gregorian Calendar Dates into Stardates and Vice Versa there are many online utilities that can do this for you. Just visit the Link in the Related Links section below.

What color is Spock in Star Trek?
RESPONSE
Vulcan blood is presumed to be green in color, the explanation for this (first definitely advanced in the installment "Obsession," from the original program) being that the oxiferous (oxygen-carrying) protein hemoglobin, in Vulcan blood cells, is chemically based on the element copper, rather than the element iron as is the case with human blood cells.

Is Star Trek better than stargate?
Considering George Lucas set a new standard for technology used in film making, and brought surround sound to the big screen, having Star Wars: A New Hope, in theaters for 3 consecutive years, there is no comparison. Star Wars is a far greater movie trilogy then Lord of the Rings due to the fact that Star Wars set the standard for what movies are today. Without Lucas, there is no Jackson.
Ignoring surround sound. Which you can enjoy both without. You have to look at the movies themselves. There are screw ups in acting in SW as are there terrible actors. The plot got changed and there are still holes and questions waiting to be answered. On the other end of the question. The Lord of the rings has amazing scenery, some of the best acting I've seen in a long time, and a cast of fantastic actors. The story is epic, deep, and profound. So in my own personal opinion I'd say The Lord of the Rings.
