Im not sure what you mean by 'new book' but if you mean Midnight Sun or Forever Dawn then they will not be relesed. If you are talking about the gossip of the 'Renesmee and Jacob' story then that was just a rumor and will not be published either. I don't belive that Stephenie Meyer is working on any new books.

I've been researching this topic lately, and so far all of the original characters should still have the same parts for New Moon. There will be brand new characters according to the storyline, however, as well as a new director, Chris Weitz. The movie will hopefully be a success, regardless of any changes that are to be made.

Page 95 of Hardcover Eclipse. Bella told Edward it was fine if he went hunting (for mountain lion of course!). It is part of a letter left on Bella's pillow when she wakes up. the whole letter says "I'll be back so soon you won't have time to miss me. Look after my heart - I've left it with you."
