You should never use a tanning bed. You'll get skin cancer.

It will not help you tan, but it will moisturize your body from what I hear will help you lock in your tan.

Yes you can get scabies from a tanning bed. Tanning beds are very dangerous and you can get many diseases from them. People shouldn't use tanning beds anymore. I know that I will never use a tanning bed, because I know the consequences of it. You can also get skin cancer and eye damage from it.

No dont use dry oil for tanning, outdoor tanning for some time is a better idea. I am an asian, my color used to be so white that my pals used to call me a snowy vampire with black hair. I apply a thin layer of olive oil after my bath. Olive oil makes the skin more colorful. Do not try tanning beds, or direct tanning in the sun. After prolonged exposure to direct sun heat, my skin gets burnt orange instead of the normal tan, moreover it damages the texure and increases the wrinkles. Use a UV protection cream of SPF 45 to avoid blemishes & wrinkles. Instead of dry oil, try using olive oil, now I look drastically olive.

I asked my pharmacist, and he told me the benefits depend on what type of rash you have. He said if it is blistering and oozing, the UV light will help dry it out; however, if it is in the later stages (dry and itchy), the sun will dry it out more and make it itch more.

Make sure to shower and moisturize before arriving at a tanning salon, use a tanning lotion because they do help you tan about 70% better than it would be without using a tanning lotion. Also tan in moderation, don't go too many minutes, burning causes harm, if you start with a short time and work your way up you will see results a lot quicker!

The wavelength in the emitted radiation on a tanning bed are more conducive to burning, in your case, then the wavelengths you would see under the natural lighting of your area. IN a tanning bed you can get tan in 10 min what would take you a hr in the sun... The reason being that the lights are bright and hot and surround you and are very close to you... What is happening while you are tanning is you are literally being cooked from the inside out... so think of a tanning bed as a giant oven. That is why you should not tan for too long or else you can die... I love my tanning bed... If you have one and plan on tanning daily you want to start of with a few min a day then after a few days go up a few more min and so on that way your body gets used to it... If you just go in there after not tanning in a while and tan for lets say 20 - 30 min your more likely to have a sun burn rather than a tan and it is more dangerous as well.

It would not be wise to because your skin needs to recover.
