Comcast Has chosen NOT to carry Hdnet. Big Problem, since Comcast is buyibg out smaller cable companies that carried and provisioned pakaged with HDnet. ( Adelphia for example ) for many Cable users, HDnet dissappeared without warning or even a Pay Per View option. Although many feel this violates the original contract that the cable user had with its previous owners, COMCAST has not been remanded to provision HDnet even as a pay option ( as it should ) by the FCC. Adele's Literacy Library is an organization founded in December 2008 by thirteen year old Adele Taylor. In short, she goes around and promotes literacy by reading, giving away brand new books and bookmarks to the young and old. The organization has donated thousands of books to organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, schools and libraries as well as day care centers. The founder was recently a HALO honoree and a hometown hero for Target. Target donated 25,000 books to deserving schools on behalf of the organization. It is pretty impressive!

Probably because they wanted teens to have their own channel so they can show more of the nickelodeon shows like iCarly, Victorious, Spongebob and Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon and put the more teen-ish shows like Degrassi on teenick so little kids won't have to see it because it's on a separate channel. They probably put nicktoons as a separate channel for a similar reason. Probably just to give iCarly, Victorious, Spongebob and Big Time Rush more time and put more of the animation/cartoons type of shows geared twords little boys (and sometimes girls like with The Mighty B) on their own channel. They probably just have all those separate channels so every age group can watch what they want at the right time for them
