We all want the biggest house, the most buildings built, and the most competitions won right? Of Course. Now to get that huge house built then I suggest that you raise money.

At first spend money on only the necessities, like the toilets and fridges. Then make sure you build no businesses, or job buildings (like the fire station or the city hall, and yes, the school too). These will top off at 100,000 simeolens in cost whereas places like the cummunity center, car dealer, or park will only continue to increase in value. Houses will also continue to increase in value, but that empty lot or unfurnished studio will not end up costing up to 350,000 simeolens or more. If you really want that jappanese retreat, beach side resort, or mansion, then I will advise you to save your simeolens and build those first. I advise against creating second floors later in the game (like around level 20+) because the second floor alone will cost up to 100,000 simeolens, along with another 50,000 for the cheapest stairs. After factoring in the cost of all of the furniture you can be spending well over 200,000 simeolens. I spent well over 85,000 simolens on a one story house, so a two story house will become expensive.

Remember these two plants: onions and beans. Yes, they aren't the most tasty and in real life if that is all you live off of then you would die. This is the life of a sim where snacks come pre made in a fridge. Onions can earn you 1,200 simeolens, and beans can earn you 1,260 simolens. That is, if your sims are inspired. I chose beans because they cost 15 simolens less and earn you 28 more expierence points. That may not sound like a lot, but in the long run that can save you thousands of simolens and give you thousands more expireence points. The downside to these plants is that they take you 7 hours for the onions and 9 for the beans. The best thing to do is start the beans before you leave for school or work, and they are ready to about ready when you get home. I just like that they aren't man eating and don't require Lp to start.

Be sure to keep you sims inspired too. Upgrade the monuments on mystery island to give you more simolens and xp. Collect all money from your first pet. Do the quests. And it is of the utmost importance that you just enjoy and have fun.

You can do this by having a high romantic relationship between two sims and clicking on the sim you want to have the baby with, and clicking romance, and finding the woohoo or try for baby button. Then have the woman take a pregnancy test and wait until she's in labor to give birth.

You have to have two sims in love (in order to have a child it has to be a male and female couple) and once their relationship is high enough you can click on a double bed and select "Try for Baby".
