In the 2005 Doctor Who series finale "the parting of ways", What happens is Jack is killed by the daleks and then Rose (the ninth & tenth doctors companion) absorbs the time vortex and is gifted with goddess like powers and becomes the entity BADWOLF. With these powers rose brings jack back to life. The Doctor later reveals in the episode "utopia" that she couldn't control it and made him a fixed point in time (also thought of as immortal). Though, at the end of "the last of the timelords", when jack states that he was called the face of boe back on the Boeshang Peninsula (because he was the first ever time agent), People have speculated that the doctor was wrong and The BADWOLF entity actually intended for jack to survive for another 5 billion years so that he would be able to tell the doctor that "he was not alone" and would be partially ready for the MASTER's return in the 2007 3-part series finale.

Torchwood has its own operating system so sadly we can't download it at home. In real life the computers are running ubuntu 5.1 and use VLC media player to play video loops at fullscreen.

I am not a very knowledgable computer user I am trying to find a DVD of Dennis Waterman singing the theme song from "NEW TRICKS" If one is not available then I want permission to copy the sound track so I can play it at a 50 year high school reunion. No, Torchwood does not hold open auditions. All roles are cast by their casting director Andy Pryor, who contacts agents he has a professional relationship with, and they recomment suitable clients for auditions. The only way to get an audition for Torchwood or Doctor Who, is to go to drama school, start working, and sign with a good agent.

Not really... It's a 15 so it depends on your perception of kids. Some bits are quite scary and there's lots of swearing and sexual references.

Doctor Who and Sarah Jane Adventures are definitely more child friendly.
