How long does it take for a tree frog to grow its leg after being cut off?
It depends on the age of a frog, the circumstances and chance of infection. A cut-off like wound has a smaller chance of infection than a rip-off wound. If the frog is just a froglet, the leg will grow faster compared to an adult species. If the circumstances are bad (food shortage, too much parasites infecting the frog) this will have a negative impact on the healingprocess.
Why is the green tree frog called a green tree frog?
American Green Tree Frogs got it's name because they're a vibrant green color. They also live in trees. You can find them when it's humid and dark outside. The Australian Green Tree Frog is a White's Tree Frog in America.

How has the red eyed tree frog adapted to the rainforest?
The rainforest is full of moisture, it is also extremely humid. There are high trees with a lot of greenery. Tree frogs thrive in hot conditions where it is damp, and they live high up in trees. Their long legs allow them to leap high & far distances, and their almost 360 vision allows them to see all around them to detect predators (and prey). As well as this, their skin can change in colour. It can vary from being very dark, to very light green; depending on the colour of the leaves on the trees they are hiding in. They have sticky feet to latch themselves onto the trees. However, they do not have long tongues to catch food with, as they don't normally look for food near water sources. As they live in trees, many insects and creatures crawl along the branches, which they simply catch in their mouths at close range.
How big is the average red eyed tree frog?
Red Eyed tree frogs will reach an average size of 2.5 inches with a range of 2 to 3 inches in length, snout to vent. Males usually reach an average length of 2.2 inches and females are usually aroung 2.5 inches.
Are whites tree frogs good for beginners?
Depending, do you mean the WHITE'S tree frog (AKA dumpy tree frog or and Austrailian green tree frog)? If that's the type of frog then make your hands wet with water that has been treated to be safe for the frog, then carefuly cup your hands around it with a hole between your fingers the size of her head. If it strugles, try to put it down somewhere safe, possibly its tank or a jar to keep it in while you clean the tank. If your hand is mysteriously wetter, the frog released its swim bladder on you (Defense mechanism), its not urine. If you drop the frog, just pick it up again. Hope this answers your question!
No.
Poison dart frogs got that name not because the frogs have poison darts - they haven't - but because humans used the poison from the frogs to poison their darts.
No poison dart frog shoots it poison. They ooze if from their skin. The type of poison depends on the species of frog.
What are Squirrel Tree Frogs adaptations?
The Tree Frog has sticky pads on the tips of the fingers and toes. These pads help it stick to plants and trees. The tree frog changes its color to the color of its surroundings. This is the way a tree frog hides. Some species of tree frogs (the chorus frog) are found in Canada. This frog's call sounds alot like a bird chirping.

How does a rainforest tree frog protect itself?
they can jump away
Most frogs pee to defend themselves. I know this, because I held a frog once and I noticed that my hand felt wet after I picked it up. It was gross.
There are many different types of frogs. For example, the Leopard frog gives off a poisinous smell which is harmful if snorted for a long period of time.
How much does a tree frog cost?
depends on what kind of tree frog you want, i have a dumpy tree frog, which are only like $20, same with a red eye tree frog and a green tree frog. But whatever you do DON'T put a wild frog in your tank or habitat. they carry diseases. but if this is your first time with a tree frog, I would suggest a dumpy tree frog. they are easy to take care of and are fun to play with, trust me i would know. I have one named Fred, and he just silts on my shoulder while i do things.

Do white lipped tree frogs predators?
They have large pads on their fingers and toes that assist them while climbing.
Can you hold red eyed tree frog?
No, green tree frogs skin is very sensitive. I disagree with the above, we have been learning about Green Tree Frogs and it is possible to hold them, but only if your hands are wet, otherwise the skin of the frog can be damaged. I agree with the 2nd one.
