How much does a tree frog cost?

depends on what kind of tree frog you want, i have a dumpy tree frog, which are only like $20, same with a red eye tree frog and a green tree frog. But whatever you do DON'T put a wild frog in your tank or habitat. they carry diseases. but if this is your first time with a tree frog, I would suggest a dumpy tree frog. they are easy to take care of and are fun to play with, trust me i would know. I have one named Fred, and he just silts on my shoulder while i do things.

What to feed a tree frog?

Go to petco and feed your treefrog stuff that is called: TREE FROG DUST!!! It is just a hole bunch of insects.

CAUTION: do not feed pet outside insects tat you find by your house it could be deadly and could kill your pet!

The answer above is correct, but this is only for the adult frog. If you are looking for what to feed TADPOLES, then here is your answer!

They are herbivorous and love spinach and lettuce! If you freeze it first it will soften as it thaws, making it easier for them to eat. But sometimes the lettuce gets all rotten and icky, and it can kill your tadpole if they eat it. Also, sometimes they just get sick of it.

They will also eat frozen bloodworms, which dissolves in the water and they will eat the tiny, gross, squiggly worms one by one. This can make your water dirty though, and not all tadpoles like this.

You can also purchase tadpole pellets at the pet store (Petsmart), but they usually prefer the natural stuff, like veggies. So I recommend not getting this pellet stuff.

If your tadpoles are in a pond, they will rasp away at algae. What green tree frog tadpoles like the most is pond weed! You can purchase pond weed at a pond store like Green Thumb.

Do tree frogs live in ponds?

No tree frogs need trees and leaves to use their camouflage to hide from predators, if they lived in a swamp they would drown in mud or be eaten since their camouflage doesn't work in grey and black because they are green and red.

They are better off wild then in homes leave them some where that no people(s) wild find it but remember it has to be by water ( a stream or river possibly a lake NO SALT WATER) with leaves and trees.
