There are many around the world, these are American:MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) founded in 1969, NUFORC (J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Reporting Center) founded 1974 and CUFOS (J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies) founded in 1973.

Although there have been sightings that popped up from time to time, like the late 19th century UFO crash on a rural farm, but without a doubt the UFO mania really started to be mainstream with the July 1947 crash in Roswell, NM. Maybe it was because there had been so many eye witnesses before the military moved in the next day, or maybe it was just an idea who's time had come. But after Roswell UFO watching would never be the same.

You could contact MUFON, although I can't imagine they'd have that much interest in investigating a 45+ year old sighting.

Yes, UFO's are real. They do come down to the World but that is on very rare or random days. People have been seen them and heard of people seeing them. If you ever watched "Fire in Sky" that proves that UFO'S and other werid animals from other planets do live because in that movie this guy and his friends were walking or hanging out somewhere and one of the friends got caputered by some animal in UFO and friends had saw that with their own eyes and five days later he can back and he was scared out of his wits. yes it is but some believe that it is not. there have been times when people have proven it but many did not believe.

It would have to be Roswell, NM, in 1947. There was also a supposed crash site reported earlier that same year in the state of Washington.

There is one mission in fsx called "secret shuttle" where you fly from Las Vegas to Groom Lake (Area 51). As you are coming into land at Groom Lake (Area 51) you see a UFO fly pass and nearly hit you! :)

There are some modelers who have created superb UFOs and craft from many of the big name sci fi films. These are available o a range of download sites dedicated to Flight Simulator.

So few sightings are actually reported, there are no reliable statistics available.

It is quite clearly done by humans, in some cases probably using GPS. So-called "experts" on crop circles have consistently failed to distinguish between crop circles of known origin, and the ones they claim only aliens could have made.

UFOs are very often seen on Earth, and nobody knows what is inside of one. If there are truly UFOs from space, when they supposedly come to Earth they may already be learning from us.

Yes, fall of 1971 about 15 miles west of Iowa City. There was a brief newspaper article about it. I read it then, but now forget what newspaper it was. Small town outside of IA City, maybe Oxford or the like.

No. There is no evidence to suggest that NASA has done this. No other country has any well-documented evidence of UFOs. It is very unlikely that NASA has been able to control the evidence in all other countries.
