Your bladder acts as a reservoir to store urine until such time as it is convenient to discharge it. Although there would be the inconvenience and embarassment of the continual discharge of urine that would occur without a bladder, the body can function quite well without it.

Kidneys are the urine producing organs of vertebrates. In humans the symmetrical bean shaped kidneys are situated in the upper rear part of our abdominal wall, one each side of the vertebrae column.

The main function of the kidneys are to regulate blood and electrolytes and to eliminate waste products - excreting waste products and excess water in the form of urine. There are two kidneys each about 10 to 12.5 centimeters long and about 170 grams or 4.6 ounces in weight.

The most important waste products dealt with are those generated by the breakdown of proteins. The kidneys also control our body's acid base balance. When blood and body fluids become too acid or too alkaline, the urine acidity is altered to restore the balance. When we ingest excess water, our kidneys excretes it. When water is lost as a result of sweating or diarrhoea, the kidneys conserve it.

Each kidney consists of approximately 1 million nephrons and supporting tissues. Medical problems affecting the kidneys include glomerulonephritis, kidney failure, pyelonephritis, urinary stones and uremia.

Sounds like you have a urinary tract infection, its not a huge deal but you should definatly go see a doctor...they can give you antibiotics to clear it up.

It can be many things; overactive bladder, a UTI, prostate issues (male), cystoseal (female) or other issues. See a doctor.

You should consult your doctor about when and how often you can do an enema, especially if you have known health conditions. However, it is not uncommon to need a second application the next day.

I was in the hospital a couple years ago and had a catheter for alittle over 2 weeks. I could pee almost right away. The thing I had trouble with was once your done peeing, it will keep dripping. Ha, I would stay in the bathroom for 10 min just waiting for it to stop dripping. That ended up going away after about a month.

The key thing about catheters is that the longer there in, the harder it is to get back into the flow of things.

Also, once a catheter is taken out, there is a chance that you could get a UTI (urinary track infection).

Without a urethra in a bull's penis, there may have to be some other way for semen to be ejaculated into a cow's vagina, or else cattle will have never existed on this planet. The urethra is important in all male mammals, by the way.
