Can high fever cause bright yellow urine?
Urine is the mode in which the body releases toxins, so it is possible. It could potentionally, and more likely an explanation, be vitamins or any medicine that you ingested, flushing through your system.
Is cupping safe if someone has bladder prolapse?
Cupping has no demonstrated benefit in the treatment of disease. There is no reason to perform cupping on someone with bladder prolapse.
Is nystatin used for genital herpes?
No. Herpes is a virus, the same one that causes shingles, cold sores and chicken pox. Nystatis is an antifungal, which will have no effect on viral infections whatsoever. Herpes is treated with an antiviral, such as aciclovir, should you require it.
Gastro- is the medical terminology combining form meaning stomach.
Gast or gastro.

What happens to your blood when it passes through your kidneys?
the blood gets cleaned up in the kidney wastes are removed from the blood to be excreted through the urine and the mineral and ion balance is corrected
What is the portion of the nephron that empties into the collecting duct?
The distal convoluted tubule is the portion of the nephron that empties into the collecting ducts. It is the last segment of the nephron.
Is catheter urine as sanitary as regular urine?
Catheter urine is more "sanitary" than regular urine. Because it is collected from the bladder, and doesn't "touch" the external skin, it is less prone to skin contamination.
What are two main stages of waste removal by the kidneys?
The kidneys use a transport system called the counter-current mechanism. This pushes water, amino acids, sodium, potassium and glucose out into Bowman's capsule.
From Bowman's capsule the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT) descends into the medulla of the kidney and is renamed the descending limb of the loop of Henle.
The descending limb can only remove water from the filtrate and no ions. The water is removed passively as the medulla is very salty.
The ascending loop of Henle actively pumps sodium and potassium out but water can not follow.
The ascending loop is renamed the distal convoluted tubule (DCT) as it passes by the glomerulus. At this spot another structure is found called the juxtaglomerular apparatus. This regulates blood pressure.
Eventually the afferent arteriole flows into a capillary bed and that flows into veins to carry the water and other nutrients back to the body.
Is the urinary bladder and the gallbladder the same structure?
No. The gallbladder is part of the digestive system. (eating) Your bladder is part of your renal system. (urine) The term "bladder" means something with which to hold or carry something. Usually liquid. Best of luck, Kathi
How does the urinary system get affected by bad eating habits?
Too much protein in the diet results in too much uric acid in the blood, which can result in kidney stones (it can also cause gout, although gout is not a problem of the urinary system). There are also other types of dietary problems which can result in kidney stones for some people.
Explain the difference between organized and unorganized sediments in urine?
Organized sediments are epithelial cells. pus cells (WBCs), RBCs and casts.
Unorganized sediments are chemical substances that form crystals.
Why does the volume and color of urine produced by the kidneys vary so much?
The color/quantity of your urine is really determined by a lot of factors. The most obvious of these is the amount of liquids that you drink. For example, if you drink 2L of water a day, you're going to have a high volume of relatively clear urine. If you drink nothing for 2 days, you're going to have a small volume of almost brown urine.
The kidneys' main jobs are: 1) to regulate electrolyte, amino-base balance, and blood pressure 2) excretion of waste 3) hormone production. We're going to focus on #2.
The kidneys are going to produce waste, called "urea", which is the result of jobs 1 and 3. Urea is yellow in color and the body produces a fairly consistent rate of it. But, depending on how much fluids you drink (more specifically, depending on the amount of water in the fluids you drink), the color may be clearer or darker and the volume might be higher or lower. The general rule is, "the darker the urine, the more dehydrated you are." If your urine is dark yellow, it means that your urea is very concentrated when leaving the body. Take it as a sign to drink more water. If, on the other hand, your urine is completely clear and you've got more than enough to spare, it means that you're over-hydrated. Both extremes are bad. Dehydration can lead to all sorts of complications - your body needs water - so drink up. Over-hydration can also lead to all sorts of complications like electrolyte imbalances - so lay off for a while.
Brown urine is another extreme. Generally, brown urine is a sign of kidney failure and your should see your doctor immediately.
So to answer your original question, your kidneys have very little to do with volume and color. How much and how often you drink causes color and volume variations in urine.
What does it mean Fetal kidney shows minimal fullness of pelvicalyceal systems?
fullness of the right pelvicalyceal system
What is a congenital defect that results in the abnormal positioning of the urinary meatus?
Epispadias A congenital defect that results in the abnormal positioning of the urinary meatus
How do you tell a teacher if you peed yourself in class?
ahh just go and tell them that you were laughing really hard or somthing and you have to pee or you ppeeed lol
Are the rectum and urethra part of human digestive system?
The rectum is part of the digestive system. Both are part of the excretory system. The urethra is part of the urinary system.
What are the symptoms if you have urinary bladder problem or sickness?
Their are several indicators: burning urine, blood in urine, urgency to urinate frequently, and change in urine color.
Besides your urinary system what other organs in your body help in excretion?
The respiratory system (lungs) allows the expulsion of gases and other wastes through respiration, the gastrointestinal system and intestines prepare and move the solid wastes, the liver filters toxins from the blood for excretion, much like the kidneys do to put wastes in the urinary system, the circulatory system (blood) moves the wastes from other parts of the body to the kidneys and liver to be prepared for excretion and the integumentary system (skin) excretes metabolic wastes in sweat and some chemical wastes can be also be excreted in tears.
Can you use a urethra sound instead of a urethra gauge?
Urethra sounds are used to dilate the size of the urethra, usually performed by a urology specialist (urologist). This process of urethra sounding is performed on patients with urethra strictures as an intervention. This process of dilating the urethra differs from the measurement process in that the process of urethra sounding is an intervention. The process of urethra gauging is an assessment. Urethra gauges are used by doctors, nurses, and physician assistants to measure the circumference of the urethra prior to insertion of a urinary catheter, indwelling urinary catheter/Foley catheter. However, patients that undergo urinary catheterization without first the use of a urethra gauge are more likely to require the services of a urologist to circumvent further complications of improper urinary catheterization.
