When you have your period can you pee turn red?

,

very long time for me that i can remember this , but yes your urine can look a little red in the toilet, once your hymen breaks, due to the thread been broken and coming away from you inside. It is like when you have a period and you urinate , the blood is coming away from you and therefore it has to go somewhere if you don't use tampax, so it turns the urine red in the toilet.

Why am I having to force my pee out?

Straining or forcing during urination can be a sign of any number of things, including:

  • Prostrate enlargement
  • Bladder infection
  • Poor nutrition
  • Interstitial Cystitis

If you are pregnant, you may often feel that you need to urinate, but in fact you do not. If you are pregnant you should not be straining to urinate. If you don't need to go, you don't need to go, it's just one of those pregnancy symptoms that will go away once you give birth.

However if you are not pregnant, you should ideally see a doctor. There is not really much advice we can give based on what you have given us in the question. The doctor will know more.

Please be aware that constantly straining to urinate can cause pelvic floor dysfunction.

If your body doesn't take the glucose from the blood into the cells by using insulin, the glucose will be lost in the urine. Since you need glucose for your cells to survive, you need the insulin. If no insulin is produced or too little is, you are a diabetic and have to take some form of artificial insulin.
