nearly 3 months thats how long its taking form order to delivery for mine

is it turbo? sounds like the turbo oil seals are shot if it is

this also illuminates when brake fluid is low either your brake pads are worn out or you have a leak

To manually tune the radio in an Opel Corsa you need to turn off RDS. When RDS is on the car will cycle through the radio stations that are available.

I bought a Holden TS Astra 2001 with no manual and a dead battery. To get the radio going; first up I have to pay the Holden dealership $15 to give me the PIN code with proof of ownership the VIN and my ID. What you get is four numbers. Example; 0475, on your radio face there are only 123456 numbered buttons, so number seven or eight is not on the buttons. With ignition on and radio on, press the AS button and the screen will display the four blank spaces for you to put the PIN in. With the example of 0475: the first number is 0 so press once the first button on the left which is button 1...you will see the numbers come up, continue with button number 2, press four times to get number 4 on the second blank space...press the third button (number 3) seven times to get 7 displayed on the screen and press button number 4 five times for number 5 to come up. Pressing the AS button again may or my not be necessary, but your radio should now be going and you should be able to set the time and date etc

You can't - later models have the option to immobilise the airbag, but year 2000 models do not.

The service booklet for my Zafira 1600 petrol (2009)(25k) as been stamped twice, on each service they have used an SAE of 5w30 but could also used 0w30. or 0w40 and 5w40 only.Now!hmmm it doesnt say if its mineral semi

synth or fullsynth , its due an oil change so im going to contact the vauxhall garage and try and find out what they used.

1 on the dash (ns) on a plate normally near tax disc

2 on the drivers b pillar post on a sticker

3 under an inspection cover in the floor of the drivers side

The second sensor is underneath the car on the exhaust front pipe, as opposed to the irst one which you can see plugged into the Cat when you lift the bonnet.

Behind the glove box, under the dash.

The location of the ECU is different depending on the model year. It is most commonly located in the engine compartment bolted to the intake manifold on the right side as you are looking at the front of the vehicle. It can sometimes be found behind the trim or under the carpet on the floor under the steering wheel.

I think it might be a pigeon under your dash as for solving it, i would suggest to take it out.

The vehicle's computer has sensed a malfunction that may not directly affect the driveability of the car (yet), Have the computer scanned for trouble codes to determine where/what the fault is.

Take it to a garage, it's a nightmare. Entire front subframe has to be removed, big job. If the rack is trashed aswell as the pump then you're looking at silly money to repair it - I had 2 garages knock back the repair of mine for it being too costly in both parts and labour unless you can source a second hand pump/rack - there's three pumps to choose from dependant on the rack.

Many thanks to MarksDTMCalib for info on how this is done. I have modified the technique so that I ( a mere mortal) can also do this easily.

OK, the steering idler is a short (6" long) casting that basically holds the steering 'rack' in the correct place on the passenger side. When it wears the car will wander and feel vague. Classic symptom is 'tram lining' where the car will be driving fine then suddenly veer fractionally onto a new course. Whilst not specifically dangerous yet, it is not good and should be attended to urgently.

Tools required:

A good jack, axle stand, 18mm socket, 19mm spanner, a good long strong bar - either a breaker bar or even the jack handle.

Firstly, loosen the wheel nuts, then raise the car to about 3" clear, secure on an axle stand and remove the road wheel. Start the car and turn the steering to full right lock. Turn off the engine and confirm the car is still stable.

Loosen the rear nut with an 18mm socket and a good long ratchet arm. Then loosen the 19mm nut in a similar manner. Now, remove the 19mm nut almost completely. Re-tighten the rear 18mm nut.

Insert your lever (breaker bar or good jack handle) between the chassis and the steering 'rack'. Lever down on to the steering arm to put pressure on the idler joint - which is taper fit so it will be tight. Now keeping that pressure on, hit the idler from underneath hard with a metal hammer, not rubber. You will need to hit it hard several times whilst keeping that downward pressure on the adjoining steering arm. The joint will suddenly pop loose.

Finally, undo the 19mm nut and the 18mm nut with its washer and remove the old idler. Replace with the new idler and tighten right up.

Reset steering to center before refitting the road wheel. Lower the car and tighten the road wheel. Car should no longer tram line. You may wish to have your tracking checked.

trying to find out myself, but my 1999 corsa b is at 127,000 with service history and only now beginning to have parts dying. hope this helps
