What is the value of the 1956 World Series program for don larsen's perfect game?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A 1956 World Series ticket from game 5 Don Larsen's perfect game is worth about $400.-$1,000. I have seen them sell as high as $2,000. A full ticket could sell for about $6,000. (very rare)

Condition is important. The slightest flaws could bring the price down significantly. Common flaws include; rips, creases, stains, and fading. Ticket stubs that are not ripped cleanly will also sell for less. Writing is a common flaw for historic games taking note of the special event of that game. Even if the ticket is signed by Yogi Berra or and Don Larsen it could bring the value down. To the ticket collector it would be considered as a flaw in the condition of the ticket. The autograph collector might not want to spend an extra $400. or so for signatures that are only worth about $200. The Ticket would be more valuable unsigned, and not written on. The value of the ticket will vary depending on how well the ticket displays, if the ticket has the writing on the front or back, and how much writing is on it. The more it distracts from the display of the ticket the lower the value. Some collectors will not even think of buying a ticket with such flaws regardless of price. Others might buy it to save some money, but will not pay anywhere near the full value. The ticket will be valued accordingly. Do not try to remove the writing as you might ruin the ticket further, and lower the value even more.

What is the value of a Philadelphia Phillies 1964 World Series ticket?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The 1964 World Series featured the St. Louis Cardinals (4)and the New York Yankees (3). The 1964 Philadelphia Philliesfinished the regular season with a record of 92 -70, and finished in second place 1 game back. The Ticket you have is a "Phantom Ticket"

A Phantom Ticket is a ticket, a press pin or any product produced in anticipation of a team making the playoffs, or World Series But not used when the team failed to make it. Phantom Tickets or Phantom Press pins are the most popular among collectors.

The Phillies having a chance to win up to the last game of the season they would have printed the tickets ahead of time to be ready. But the Phillies didn't make it. A 1964 World Series Philadelphia Phillies Phantom Ticket is worth about $20.-$25.

Condition is important. The slightest flaws could bring the price down significantly. Common flaws include; rips, creases, stains, and fading. Ticket stubs that are not ripped cleanly will also sell for less. For more information on vintage baseball tickets visit the link I left below. == ==

What is the value of a 1931 official souvenir program from the World Series?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A 1931 St. Louis Cardinals World Series program played at Sportsman's Park is worth about $350.-$750. in excellent - near/mint condition. A 1931 Philadelphia Athletics World Series program played at Shibe Park is worth $450.-$750. As with all collectibles, condition is the most important factor of all providing that the item is authentic. With programs/scorecards the slightest flaws will bring the price down significantly. An exceptional mint condition scorecard could sell for more.

Common flaws would be staining, foxing (yellowing), fading, creases, rips, loose pages, cracked binding, and writing on the cover. Un-scored programs will generally sell at a higher price than a scored program but sometimes it doesn't effect value. The over all condition, and how well the cover displays will.

The value on a "scored" program as opposed to a un-scored program can vary depending on the game, and collectors preference. In general I would say an un-scored program will sell at a higher price. Some collectors do not mind scored programs

What is a 1996 World Series signed baseball worth?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The Value of the baseball would be determined by the whoautographed the baseball. The Atlanta Braves team, the Cleveland Indians team, or players from both teams that played in the World Series. If the baseball was signed by a single team it could have a higher value than the signatures belonging to players of both. The condition of the signatures, the authenticity that accompanies the signatures, and the key signatures that appear on the baseball, all will be factors. Either way a value cannot be estimated without the knowledge of at least who signed the baseball. First base.

What is the value of a signed 1986 Boston Red Sox World Champions pennant worth?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

1980 Philadelphia Phillies Pennant

A full sized 1980 Philadelphia Phillies in general is worth about $10.-$15. in excellent to near/mint condition. As with all collectibles condition is important.

Common flaws with pennants are missing ties, pin holes, frying, creases, and "crackling" on the printing. Sometimes people will trim down a pennant to rid it of the frying or other flaws like a flat tip (point) Caused by being pinned up and ripped off. Any of these flaws will degrade the pennant significantly.

How much is a 2001 Yankees world series signed baseball worth?

2001 Game used World Series baseballs sold, and authenticated by Steiner Sports sell in the $100.+ price range. If you caught the baseball at the game it will be hard to prove that the baseball was used during a World Series game. A letter of provenance from a team player or league official would be acceptable to prove it is a World Series game baseball. Then it could have higher value. A letter of provenance from a fan at the game will not hold much weight if any.

Programs from the team that won the series typically sell at a higher price. A 1948 Cleveland Indians World Series program played at Cleveland Stadium is worth about $100.-$175. in excellent - near/mint condition. A 1948 Boston Braves World Series program played at Braves Field is worth $150.-$175. As with all collectibles, condition is the most important factor of all providing that the item is authentic. With programs/scorecards the slightest flaws will bring the price down significantly. An exceptional mint condition scorecard could sell for more.

The value on a "scored" program as opposed to a un-scored program can vary depending on the game, and collectors preference. In general I would say an un-scored program will sell at a higher price. Some collectors do not mind scored programs, or might prefer it scored. A game in note that might sell at a higher price "scored" would be Don Larsens perfect game in the World Series.

Where can you get a replica World Series ring?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I've seen multiple listings on eBay, but they can get sorta pricy...just do a deep Google search and let me know if you find a good place..i would also try like a custom jewelry website and I'm sure they can make one if you submit a picture of what you would like...

I ordered a Replica Ring from JOSTBALF several months ago. The ring was nice but did not have the inside engraving in it I ordered nor was the size correct. Ordered size 14, I rec'd size 10 at best. Ring cost $575.00. Spoke to the owner who was very nice and was told to send it back and they would take care of it. Three months later, they will not respond to my emails, voicemailbox is full, will not answer letters and website is gone. I guess Ive been scammed. Buyer beware of JOSTBALF and other online companies.

What is the value of a 1982 World Series ball signed by the winning team?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A 1982 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Hernandez, Smith, and McGee is worth about $475.-$550.

Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less. What is the value of a 1949 World Series program signed by Cy Young and Jackie Robinson?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A 1949 New York Yankees World Series program played at Yankee Stadium is worth about $175.-$200. in excellent - near/mint condition. A 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series program played at Ebbets Field is worth $200.-$250. A Cy Young Jackie Robinson signed 1949 WS Program regardless of which, would probably sell in the neighborhood of $1,500. or more. There is no relation of Cy Young to the 1949 World Series and would not make a desirable item to display the signature, and could keep the price down. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signatures. How much is the 1953 Yankee World Series ring with the number 5 on it worth?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The 1953 New York Yankees World Series ring features a centered diamond surrounded by the number 5. The 5 marking the first time, and still the only time that a baseball team has won five consecutive world championships. The titles came in Casey Stengel's first five years as a manager.

The rings value will be determined if the ring can be attributed to a ballplayer, a member of the Yankee organization, scout, etc. It would have to be proven with a letter of provenance showing the chain of custody or ownership of the ring. The more important the player the more valuable. I do not know how you can acquire a ring of such status without knowing who it belonged to, and the ring could be a salesman's sample or a reproduction.

Without a letter of Provence showing the origin of the ring you will have a hard time selling it as such. The value of the ring will then be determined by the value as a piece of jewelry, that is a replica of the 1953 world series ring, and not as a ring belonging to any member of the organization.

There was a 1953 World Series ring belonging to Phil Rizzuto being auctioned off in the summer of 2007. I have not been able to find the results of the auction. it could sell anywhere between $50,000, and $150,0000+ and I would go with the higher number because of the significance of the 5 in a row World Series titles, and Phil Rizzuto being a popular Yankees figure.

In comparison a 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Ring owned by the P.A. announcer "Tex" Rickard sold for $29,694.98. and a Johnny Podres 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Ring $50,932.37 same ring different owner.

If I find more info I will up date the post. I will leave a link to the latest news on baseball memorabilia below.
