to keep them selfs wet(the hair mantains water on it)then they wont die from dehighdgeration because they cant stay to dry

it's not a good idea since they are wild animals and it is animal cruelty to keep them locked up. I think there is a law protecting them.

Don't think that slow worms will start to like you, even if they have known you all their life. They are leg-less lizards, only mammals will grow an affection for you (if they ever do)
