I don't think that that's possible in freeform mode. Although, you could just play challenge mode without accepting the challenges, that's basically the same thing.

Only two animals can be cross-bred that I know of; the zebra and quagga. The baby is the species of the mother. Just put a male zebra and female quagga (or vice versa) in an enclosure together and this will happen.

In ZT, I think it comes with either Zoo Tycoon alone or Complete Collection.

In ZT2, you have to have Endangered Animals XP.

IN THIS CASE, XP is NOT an emoticon.

I've had the same problem, my friend. I've tried uninstalling and installing it again to make it work, but it still didn't. To make things easier, this is what the message said, am I right? Error 1305. Error reading from the file D:/Files/x200_000.ztf. Verify that the file exists and you can access it. But isn't that just the problem? Whenever you start the game, no animals or tanks as promised shows up on the game! So, I'm sorry if this isn't an answer, but, please, can anyone help?

This had been bugging me for a very long time but after playing the game and checking every cheat code site I've come to the conclusion that they just don't exist. I have a cheat code book that has them published... but I know them from the old games and they are certainly not visible in the DS version and thus I think that one person accidently pasted them from a PC version of Zoo Tycoon once and all the other cheat sites pounced on the cheats without checking first. Prove me wrong. You'll help a vast amoun of people. But I highly doubt I am. == == You can not. Myth!
