What is good and bad about zoos?
well sometime i think Zoos are good so that people can explore the different types of animals, because people know about snakes right but they might not know all the different types, but its also bad because animals in the zoo have a right to live their life in the wild and in their habbitat. but i think that because global warming is happening and polar bears are going to be extinced so they should take any remaining Polar bears now and take care of them in a zoo but i really don't know hope this has helped (it might sound a bit confusing lol)

Some zoos may close in part or completely during different times of the year, either for repair work on the facility to be completed, or due to the weather and it's effect on many animals. Additional Info: Most modern zoos are making great strides, or making an effort to meet the needs of their animals by supplying them with "enrichment foods and toys" to help give them mental and physical stimulation. The goal is to give them interesting, and complex things that they can explore, keeping them from the frustration and boredom that so many animals suffer from. This is not practiced in all zoos, but it is gaining in popularity, especially as visitors become aware of it, and it's benefit for the animals long term well being.
