No because its not rated for AIR lines and plus if you were to use it and something damaged the pipe it would explode. Most people use copper or iron pipe for air lines.

On commercal and other air line installations black pipe is the normal material to be used , depending on a the working pressure then one would choose the schedule of the piping and fitting rating
