How do you get your thumbnails back on Google Chrome?

Here's a number of options:

• If you happen to have Google Chrome sync enabled, you can possibly get your bookmarks (thumbnails) back under Settings (Manage your synced data).
• If you are using another browser (internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and have saved some of the same bookmarks, you can import those into Chrome.
• You could also recover the bookmarks from the bookmark.bak file in your Chrome profile folder. However, if you exited out of Chrome and restarted it after you lost your bookmarks, this won't work.
• When you open up a new page, at the bottom is a "Most visited" tab. Click it and it will show all the pages you've previously visited. In addition, you can also look at the "Recently closed" tab. That will show you any recent sites that you exited out.

If you do not want to see apps but want to see most visited sites just click on "Most Visited" in the new tab.
