Of course, just like Europe introduced food and animals to the Americas, the Europeans brought back food to Europe.
Ironically we think of Italy and many of us think Pizza, spaghetti, ect. What we don't realize is the tomato sauce...well, tomatoes are not native to Italy, they were native to the Americas. So was squash, pumpkin, corn, rubber, coffee, and many others. Animans brought back from the Americas include Bears, beavers, otters, minks, lynx, turkeys, llamas or alpacas, parrots/other pet birds, dog species, racoons, squirrels, chipmunks, birds like hummingbirds, and several insect species.
