Bradford is a fairly nice place to live. Being located within the foothills of the Pennines and in the North of England, weather is not good here. It rains a lot and temperatures are colder than the rest of England. If you have anything against Pakistani's, or Muslims,or work for the EDL, or support the BNP party, do not even think about living in Bradford. Bradford is home to a variety of shops however it pales in comparison to other cities such as Leeds when it comes to shopping. If you love Victorian architecture or mills, then you will love Bradford. Bradford is home to the best museum outside London, the National Media Museum, one of the best parks in the UK, Lister park, the best cinema in the UK, the largest man-made water feature of any UK city, the oldest concert hall in the UK (also the 3rd largest in Europe), the largest Mela in the world outside Asia, Zayn from one direction, and most importantly, it is the only city in the world that is a UNESCO city of film. Bradford has been given a well deserved title as the Curry Capital of the UK. However, nightlife is not great here and while Bradford has outstanding Indian restaurants, don't expect to be impressed by any other type of restaurant, though Leeds is nearby, and Leeds has a great nightlife. If they get round to doing it, Bradford City Centre will be undergoing a great regeneration project, which will create more job opportunities. Bradford is home to a good university and some of the best schools in the UK. Not to mention Bradford is near some of the most spectacular countryside in the UK. However, Bradford does have a high crime rate for a city it's size and has the most atrocious driving conditions of any city in the UK. Being located in the North of England, housing prices are reasonable. And finally, these are the neighborhoods of Bradford, I recommend the good ones, obviously, and unless you want to cope with social unrest, high unemployment rates, poverty and deprivation, or you cannot afford to live anywhere else in Bradford, avoid the ones I listed as bad at all costs.
