More than 2/3 of the Earth's surface is covered by oceans.

The largest is the Pacific Ocean, which stretches from the west coast of North America and South America across to Asia and Australia, and from Alaska all the way down to Antarctica. The Atlantic Ocean lies between the east coast of the Americas to Western Europe and Africa, from Greenland in the north to Antarctica in the south. The Indian Ocean is east of Africa and west of Australia, from south Asia to Antarctica. The Arctic ocean surrounds the North Pole, bordered by Russia, Canada, Alaska and northern Europe.
