There were also hundreds of aboriginal nations (Indian Nations) that covered what would become the United States including the Lakota, Cherokee, Seminole, Molluskan, Algonquin, Iroquois, Shawnee, Creek, Miami, Ottawa, Chippewa, Navajo, Pawnee, Apache, Comanche, Ute, Cheyenne, Crow and Blackfoot nations.
