Iranian Answer

Never, Iran is too powerful for the West/Israel to attack. Iranians have something called Nationalistic Pride which is they will ALL fight for an independent country. Iran has never been occupied by a foreign power for more than 12 years. If you go to war with Iran, its a war against 69 Million male, female, children and the elderly. You cannot win. Iraq was being supported by 74 countries with military, information and money during the 8 year war with Iran, and they still lost. Iranians are very patriotic and will fight to the last man/woman.

So to answer your Question, not in a million years, Unless the West wants another Vietnam.

Western Answer

Western countries are hesitant to engage in a military struggle with Iran, not because they fear loss, but because Iran does have a strong military that would make such a war costly and difficult. However, as time goes by, it becomes more and more likely that Israel or the United States will plan some sort of overt attack on Iran in an attempt to halt their nuclear program. Timetables for such attacks are constantly modified and it is unlikely, unless you know somebody in Intelligence, that you can find out the exact date and time.

Update: Because of the Iran Nuclear Deal reached in July 2015, the possibility of such an attack has diminished significantly.
