My husband is getting his associate's degree from ITT in drafting and design and I am wondering what kind of job he can get and pay scale I think he is wasting his time in this economy?

The profession may not be as much a concern as where he is getting from. ITT is not a regionally accredited institution. Therefore, the coursework and degree will not be recognized by all other regionally accredited institutions (a problem should he decide to continue for a higher degree at a later date.), and may not be recognized by many employers. The national accreditation - as well as others - is really not the preferred accreditation for colleges and universities. Read the following carefully.

With a regional accreditation you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. · New England Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont).

· North Central Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

· Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities - Postsecondary institutions (colleges and universities) in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

· Western Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, Palau, and Northern Marianas Islands.
