It depends upon where you were in the world and the degree of your country's involvement in the war. For example, if you were in Germany, then your main enemy throughout the war's length was the United Kingdom. If you were in southeast Asia, then your enemy tended to be Japan. If you were in Sweden or Switzerland, then you technically had no enemies, because of the countries' policies of neutrality.
