Well, as minecraft has only just come out on the Xbox, it is still in Beta 1.7.3, (as you can see by how it is basically exactly the same as Beta 1.7.3 on PC). It will be a reasonably long wait, but here is the order they will release it in:
- 1.6.6 (Done)
- 1.7.3 (Current)
- 1.8.2 (Soon)
- 1.2.3 (Longer)
- 1.3.1 (Looooonger)
N.B. Keep in mind that they will be combining updates into these updates.
So that gives a basic timeframe of how long it will take to do all of the coding for the new updates. I have not found the exact dates on the internet for their releases, so just keep waiting and I hope you hear about it soon.
