Yes, minecraft can run on an HP EliteBook 8460, but performance may vary. With its old Intel Core i5 processor and integrated graphics, it’s best to play Java Edition on lower settings. Adding more RAM (at least 8GB) and using OptiFine can improve gameplay. For smoother performance, avoid heavy mods or large worlds.
Well, you can maybe google minecraft alts. Some of them are actually working. 80% do not work.
well, i tried it with a ps3 controller and it doesn't work for me
Minecraft 1.4.6 mods will work with 1.4.7 sense they are both a 1.4.
You can download the pocket edition of Minecraft to play on an iPad or iPod. The internet based version doesn't work well on the iPad browser Safari.
You might have to update your minecraft
yes but you have to download minecraft if you want it to work
then your minecraft is bugged...

it does not work
Minecraft is no longer in the Alpha stage. It has been updated to Minecraft Beta. Update your Minecraft game client.
Re instull Minecraft
I don't think it would work well if it could. I believe Minecraft dropped support for Java 1.5 and lower so I think Mac OS 10.5 is the last one supported. The MacBook Air is the lower end laptop so I really don't think it would work well if you did get it to work. It came with permanently installed ram, meaning you cannot add more after it was purchased. Unless the MacBook Air's ram was maxed out when it was purchased new, that old of a laptop would just be too laggy. If you know someone that has an account then you can try installing Minecraft on your computer and have them log into their Minecraft account and see if it will play well.
