The Germans were the target of a concerted effort to create hatred (called dehumanization) among the population of the Allied countries.

This was so successful that immigrants of German decent claimed to be from invaded countries in the years after WWI.

The Propaganda campaign later resulted in sanctions that indirectly lead to WWII

In contrast the German civilian population was caught between the Communist Soviet Union and the west after WWII causing them to be viewed as oppressed and in need of rescuing.

it made the Russian army withdraw and forced it to sign a treaty with the Germans.

Did the British and Germans hate each other after World War 1?

The sad answer is yes. Lord Haldane, for example, a senior British politician, was forced from office because he had studied in Germany. SOME Germans who had been naturalized before WW1 were deprived of British citizenship and so on. In what one might call the Anglo-German community in Britain, WW1 is seen as the time when conditions for Germans in Britain were worst - significantly worse that in WW2. Similarly, there was intense hostility towards Britons in Germany at the time. Joncey

What are 3 points in which the Treaty of Versailles caused World War 2?

This is just what i remember from school so correct me if I am wrong, but the treaty of Versailles made the Germans pay for all the damages done in WW1, both in its own country and in the others. I also remember, but I am not positive about this but after WW1 the Germans actually had less land and so greed played a part. That's all i remember i hope this helps

Why were the Germans punished after WW1?

They were blamed for starting the war and all the damaged that happened in the war. The treaty of Versailles ordered to pay for all the damages, which lead to Germany going into Hyper Inflation

Why was the treaty that ended World War 1 such a bad treaty?

It wasn't a peace treaty many would argue, since it focused mostly on blaming the Germans mostly for starting WW1, and it punished the Germans and made them pay 30 billion to repair the Allies' damages, there are several parts to the treaty, but they directly/indirectly show that the French and British wanted to punish the Germans, not to go to peace.
