The Pacific Campaign between Japan and the US/Russia was fought on the islands in the Pacific Ocean. The main war in Europe was fought initially in North Africa, parts of Turkey, all of Europe except for Spain, and parts of western Russia.

It started in Germany w/Hitler then Italy's Musaliny both trying to expand there impire. Later Japan intered the war trying to conker pasific islands. Germany spread over Europe and invading Russia & Africa. Japan thought the US would get involved so they attacked Pearl Harbour.Then the US got involved and made the atomic bomb blowing up 2 citys in Japan.

WWII actually started with Japan invading China. The Italians were next to enter Greece and north Africa. The Germans came to the Italians aid, and next went into Poland. The Germans fought in North Africa, Europe and Western Asia. The Italians Southern Europe and North Africa. The Allies fought the Japenese not only in the Pacific but in Asia and even part of Alaska. The Russians didn't declare war on Japan until August 1945 after the atomic bombs were delivered to their targets.
