They might if it is available. Some don't start to get up on a roost until they are about 10 weeks or so preferring the huddle and warmth of the others as long as possible.
Go ahead and provide a low roosting spot. You can show them what to do also by going in and putting a couple of them on the roosting pole and let them decide for themselves if they want to stay.
