Guinea pigs love music. My guinea pig squeaks and purrs and runs around when she hears "fun" songs like We Are Young, Cha Cha Slide, Cotton Eye Joe, Macarina and even fast Country Music such as Mean by Taylor Swift & Grandma's Feather Bed by John Denver. Just saying Rosie, my guinea pig, HATES rock n roll & pop music.

∙ 12y agoIt's entirely possible that exposure to prolonged loud music would cause a guinea pig a great deal of stress - and this could certainly kill it. Guinea-pigs are more sensitive to their environmental conditions than people realise.

Whenever a sound occurs that is so loud that it hurts a guinea pig's ears the guinea pig may act stunned. Along with that, when hearing a very loud noise a guinea pig's ear(s) will twitch or flop up then down. Please note, that attempting to make the animals ear twitch with loud noises is seriously disrespectful to the animal and should never be done on purpose.

As I am aware there have been no scentific studies into the exact types of music they seem to like the most, i`d stay away from heavy techno or rap, try soft music like enya or deep forest mine certainly likes this.

No.....your guinea pig's broken arm will not kill him. I am the owner of 2 guinea pigs and My guinea pig broke his arm just recently actually. He is not showing any sign of death or anything of that sort. For example: If a boy breaks his arm.....will he die...no....so its the same with guinea pigs. Just let your guinea pig be for a few days and then maybe take hime to a good vet who can cure the problem and within days your guinea pigs will slowly heal.
