It shouldn't hurt at all, unless you are squeezing or carrying her by her abdomen. If you pick your cat up with one hand under the back part of her stomach and the other hand under her rib cage, this distributes the weight. Let her lay with her front legs on your shoulder and her back legs resting in one hand by your stomach and there won't be any pressure on her belly.
