Protein synthesis is the steps taken to create a protein. It starts in the nucleus of the cell. The double helix of DNA is ripped open in half by helicase and the free floating nucleotides for RNA come in and create messenger RNA or mRNA, for a specific section or gene of DNA. mRNA is made up of adenine, cytosine, guanine and uranine. The mRNA then travels outside of the nucleus and meets up with ribosomal RNA aka rRNA. This is more commonly known as a ribosome. The rRNA "reads" the mRNA and for every three bases on the mRNA it finds the complimentary bases on the tRNA (transfer RNA). The tRNA carries amino acids which connect into a chain as the rRNA continues reading the mRNA. When the mRNA tells the rRNA to stop reading it, the rRNA breaks off leaving a string of amino acids which then fold up into a protein.

Is chicken curry a protein?

Well, chicken is meat and meat is protien, so I guess chicken curry does contain protien. &:)

Ribosomal rna brings what to ribosomes for protein synthesis?

The synthesis of proteins takes two steps: transcription and translation. Transcription takes the information encoded in DNA and encodes it into mRNA, which heads out of the cell’s nucleus and into the cytoplasm. During translation, the mRNA works with a ribosome and tRNA to synthesize proteins. RNA polymerase is necessary for the process to occur.

Why do plants and animal and other organisms need nitrogen?

Nitrogen is required by plants and animals for protein synthesis

Which process is used to release insulin from pancreatic cells into the bloodstream?

Insulin release from pancreatic beta cells into the bloodstream is primarily regulated by glucose levels through a process called glucose-stimulated insulin secretion. When blood glucose rises, it triggers a series of signaling pathways within the beta cells, leading to the release of insulin. This insulin then helps lower blood glucose levels by promoting the uptake of glucose by tissues such as muscle and fat cells.

Process that involves the synthesis of complex substances in living things?

Biochemical pathways involve the synthesis of complex substances in living organisms through a series of chemical reactions. These pathways involve enzymes that catalyze the formation of specific molecules needed for growth, maintenance, and function of the organism. Examples include photosynthesis in plants and protein synthesis in animals.

On what organelle in the cell does protein synthesis occur?

Protein synthesis takes place in the ribosomes and also in the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER).

How many steps are there in protein synthesis?

Protein synthesis involves two main steps: transcription, where the information in DNA is copied into messenger RNA (mRNA) in the nucleus; and translation, where the mRNA is used as a template to assemble amino acids into a protein at ribosomes in the cytoplasm. Each step consists of multiple sub-steps involving different molecules and enzymes.
