What you get is a cross breed. This is not always a bad thing. Breeds are born this way but with a lot more work than chance cross breeding. You can get some interesting combination when you do this on a home farm. I have a cross between an Araucana and a Cochin that produces "Gold" colored eggs.
Sounds like a late hatch. Most chicks hatch at or around 21 days but there are reasons they may hatch at 23 days. I just had two hatch from a clutch of eggs on day 24 and they are Araucana's.
21 days is the incubation time for all chicken breeds.
in sex-linked chickens the males coloring and markings will be different looking in newly hatched chicks. For example: Golden Sex Link Chickens (also known as Golden Comets), will have reddish yellow chicks and lighter yellow chicks. The feathers are different for the different sexes. It is easy to determine if the chick is a female (pullet) or male (roo). Sex-linked chickens are not a standard chicken breed, rather a hybrid cross of two different breeds, usually combined to create highly productive hens. There are several different sex-link hybrids on the market. The benefit to buying sex-linked chicks is knowing that you have all pullets and no roosters in the bunch!
Hens and roosters are both chickens, so the offspring are called chicks. As they get older and show their male or female characteristics, they are called either a hen or a rooster. Note: In Australia and New Zealand, chickens are called chooks or chookies.
Most breeds are fully feathered at 50 to 60 days old. See related links below for a good site to view the stages of a growing chicken from hatch to one year. Look for the growing chick link .

Chickens lay eggs and wait for them to hatch after they have grown from fetus into a chick.
It takes 21 days for a chicken egg to hatch.
No, rubber chickens are not able to lay eggs.
You right click the chicken egg onto the ground and a baby chicken may come out. There is a chance a chicken will not come out.
The simplest thing to use to hatch a chicken egg is a chicken. Unfortunately the brooding instinct has been bred out of a lot of the chickens today, so they may not tend the eggs enough for them to hatch. After that a simple incubator does a good job, but now you have to tend the eggs instead of the chicken.
yes I think yes, if a warmed custom built cages can hatch eggs why not chickens? They are poultry anyway
The expression is "do not count your chickens before they hatch." It means do not get ahead of yourself. Eggs are potential chickens, not real ones.

Enderdragon eggs do not hatch as of the latest version.
Chickens hatch from eggs. All animals that hatch from an egg must fit into the shell up to the point of birth.
Give me the time taken for each egg to hatch and the number of eggs that a chicken lays in a day.
